Mercer Transportation is a leader in the transportation industry with over 1,800 owner-operators serving the USA and Canada. We’re seeking a motivated, skilled, and teachable individual to join our Pinetops team. We commit to investing in the right people and helping them grow professionally, personally, and financially.
What You’ll Do
Manage all aspects of transportation logistics—from load tendering to delivery follow-up.
Provide clear, detailed instructions to drivers and customers.
Communicate daily with drivers, customers, and team members.
Solve problems quickly to maintain a high service standard.
Maintain accurate records in web-based systems.
Monitor load progress and resolve service issues in real time.
Coordinate with partners to ensure on-time freight movement.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong customer service skills & professional demeanor
Excellent verbal & written communication
Computer & email proficiency; comfortable with web-based systems
Strong phone etiquette and ability to manage multiple calls
Critical thinking and quick decision-making skills
High attention to detail & ability to relay that to drivers, customers, and team
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Resilience in handling difficult situations
Teachable—able to adapt and retain information for future use
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
What We Offer:
