Grow Together Farm Field Day Invites Families, Students, and Community Members to Explore Agriculture Through Hands-On Learning Tarboro, NC – The KKAC Organization and the Southeastern Improvement Association (SEIA) invite community members of all ages to attend the Grow Together Farm Field Day on Friday, June 19, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Coneto Family Farm & Life Center, 151 Vines Lane, Tarboro, NC 27886. This free community event is designed to connect students, families, educators, farmers, and residents with the world of agriculture through interactive experiences, educational activities, and opportunities to learn about healthy food systems and agricultural resources available to farmers. Attendees will have the opportunity to: -Participate in farm tours and hands-on learning experiences -Explore planting and gardening activities -Meet local farmers and agriculture leaders Learn about available resources and opportunities in agriculture Connect with others who are passionate about food, farming, and community development A complimentary farm-to-table lunch will be provided for attendees. "Grow Together Farm Field Day is an opportunity for community members to learn where their food comes from, discover the importance of agriculture in our region, and inspire the next generation of farmers, leaders, and innovators," organizers said. The event welcomes participants of all ages and backgrounds and aims to strengthen connections between local agriculture, education, and community health.
